Kids

We’re in the race for the hearts of our kids, and Kidz volunteers play a vital role. They help babies, preschoolers, and elementary kids discover who Jesus is, grow in their faith, and learn how to share His love with others.

STUDENTS

Student volunteers play a key role in shaping the faith of OVCN teens. They lead small groups, build relationships on trips, and get a front-row seat to students making first-time commitments to Jesus.

SPORTS

Coaches help athletes grow in skill and character. They lead practices and games, connect with families, and create a fun, Christ-centered experience. Referees Referees help ensure each game runs smoothly and fairly.

VISITATION

Visitation volunteers help those who can’t attend in person still feel connected to our church family. Through monthly visits or phone calls, they offer encouragement, prayer, and a reminder that they are loved.

CARING

Caring volunteers send encouraging cards to those who’ve shared prayer requests, join the email based Prayer Chain to pray for urgent needs, and deliver meals to older adults who can’t easily get out.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Stephen Ministers are trained church members who walk with people through life’s difficult seasons—like grief, illness, or divorce. They offer one-on-one support, a listening ear, and Christ-centered encouragement.

There are many different positions, from golf cart driver and greeter to safety team.

CULINARY TEAM

If you enjoy creating great food in your kitchen than this is the ministry for you!

CAFE TEAM

A fun and fast-paced place to serve. Try your hand as a barista!

WORSHIP ARTS

CHOIR

Stop just singing in the shower and join the choir! All ages are welcome.

BAND OR VOCAL TEAM

Play an instrument? Sing? There are auditions for these positions.

PRODUCTION

Like to be behind the scenes? From the sound board to video cameras their job is vital!

Everyone can find a place to serve a ministry at OVCN. Whether you are able to teach a class for kids, brew some coffee, play an instrument or help during the week with various ministries, we have a place for you to serve!
