Kids
We are in the race for the hearts of our kids and Kidz volunteers play a vital part. They help our babies, preschoolers, and elementary kids discover who Jesus is, learn to follow Him and how to share His love with others.
STUDENTS
Student volunteers make a huge impact in the lives of OVCN teens. They connect with them as small group leaders, have fun as trip chaperones and get to be a part of these teens making first time commitments to Christ.
SPORTS
A coach leads athletes to grow in their sport, technique and character. They are the central point of contact for kids and parents, and lead practices and games. Referees are also a vital part of the program!
VISITATION
Visitation volunteers ensure everyone can still feel like they are part of our family, even if they can’t physically come anymore, by providing monthly visits or phone calls to those that are unable to leave their house or facility.
CARING
Caring volunteers write encouraging cards to people who have put in prayer requests. They can also be a part of the Prayer Chain, an email based group that is available to pray for immediate and emergent needs.
STEPHEN MINISTRY
Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.Â
