Every day, hunger claims the lives of over 6,000 children. But we can bring hope—and it starts with food and YOU! From Feb 2-7, OVCN is teaming up with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to pack 1.55 million meals, and we need your hands to make it happen.
By volunteering, you’ll help get essential meals to those who need them most. Every year, our campus becomes a hub of hope, where hundreds of thousands of meals are packed and prepared for global shipment.
Each two-hour shift begins with a quick orientation, followed by packing in the Third Space. We have 20 shifts available, running from Monday evening through Saturday afternoon, and each session needs 360 volunteers. Bring friends, family, co-workers, and even clubs—anyone 5+ is welcome!

Packing 1.55 million meals is a huge goal—and it takes both willing hands and generous hearts to make it happen. Each meal costs just 29 cents, but together that adds up to about $464,000—enough to feed more than 4,000 children for an entire year.
As a MobilePack site, OVCN is responsible for covering the cost of every meal we pack, since those receiving them cannot. On average, one volunteer packs $60–$75 worth of food during a two-hour shift (kids about $50). Or, you can feed a child for a full year for just $106.
